Jennifer Frymyer hosts the Spring 2022 DCC Pastors Panel. The pastors of DCC meet to discuss the current affairs and future plans of their ministries. Lance Lewis has recently joined the team as Adult Ministries Pastor. He shares what the transition to Sequim has been like, and what his hopes are for 2022. Britt Hemphill, our Pastor of Family Ministries, talks about what's been going on in the children and youth programs, that he oversees. Pastor Tim shares his thoughts on how DCC has handled the last couple years, and how we are doing entering 2022. He also shares his thankfulnes to be able to take his upcoming Sabbatical. A Message From Pastor Tim
Dear Church Family,
As many of you know, DCC has long had a program in place to give pastors a Sabbatical break every seventh year of service. This is simply a bit more extended time away for rest and study. It is an incredible gift and one I know all of us pastor deeply appreciate. Amazingly this is my seventh year as Lead Pastor here at DCC. Hard to believe how the time has flown by! The Elders and staff have given Branette & I the green light to take some time away and we are excited for the opportunity.
A few days ago Pastor Lance, Pastor Britt and myself sat down with Jennifer Frymyer to record a discussion about DCC ministry plans while I am away. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to check out the video linked below.
This Sunday I’ll be talking about the whole concept of rest in the life of a Christian. I suspect many of us struggle to make a rest regular, healthy part of our walk with Jesus. I’m looking forward to thinking about this important topic with all of you.
