Pastor of Adult Ministries

Shawn was born and raised here in the Pacific Northwest. He grew up in a family that was, and still is, heavily entrenched in the Jehovah’s Witnesses religion. After years of doubt and guilt he left the religion at age 30, leaving behind most of the family and friends he had ever known. For the next 15 years he searched and fell, searched and fell again as he looked for the God he knew existed.

Children & Family Pastor

Britt was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and experienced life in Ohio, Mississippi, and California growing up. He received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and attended graduate school in forestry at the Univ. of Washington where he met his future bride, Gayle, and became a follower of Jesus at the age of 24.

Director of Student Ministries

Darren Sweeney was born and raised in Port Angeles. He started a relationship with the Lord during middle school and he has been passionate about knowing Him and making Him known ever since!

In high school, Darren joined the ministry team volunteering with middle school youth group and found a love for walking with young people in their relationships with Jesus. For the past 25 years, he has continued to lead discipleship groups, youth teams, and Bible studies and grown in his own walk with Christ watching God work in the lives of youth.

Office Administrator/Care Coordinator

Colleen was born in Port Angeles and raised in Southeast Alaska. As a teenager she spent summers commercial fishing with her family. She attended high school in eastern Washington and in 1990 earned a BA in Child and Family Studies at Washington State University. Colleen met her husband Phil while working in a fish plant in Valdez Alaska on one of her summer breaks in college.
